“Once we got to the lake the trip was most enjoyable and well organised. A nice boat trip and then a guided walk around the island where there’s plenty to see. However the transport was AWFUL! A battered old minibus with no seatbelts and no AC. We were told the journey was about 2 hours and it was nearer 3. We were very hot and uncomfortable on the minibus. We were told water was included but none was offered. Should not be transporting tourists in such old vehicles with no seatbelts. Stopped at a very slow and not very exciting hotel for lunch.”

The whole thing came off really unprofessional”

Luckily Patrick is very easy to talk to. He's also very knowledgeable about the area and Kenya in general which made for great conversation throughout the day.
